Rates are based on two - five people. Breakfast is not provided.
Payment: Deposits (one half of the total amount for a multiple-night stay or full payment for a one-night stay) by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express or by personal check within seven days of making reservation. Balance by cash, credit card, or travelers' check.
Security: We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell to anyone, nor use in any way, other than for purposes of your reservation, any personally identifiable information (i.e. IP addresses, cookie information, etc.), which may be automatically received in the normal course of the on-line reservation process.
Cancellation: As a small independent property, cancellations affect us greatly. Once we have committed to hold a room for you, we will turn subsequent inquiries away.
In the unfortunate situation where you need to cancel your reservation, deposits are refundable ( less $30 per room service charge) on reservations canceled more than 21 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations made 21 days or less prior to arrival require that the room be re-rented for all nights reserved in order to provide a refund less a $30 per room charge. (If we are able to re-rent the room at a reduced rate the refund will reflect that reduction).
On reservations made more than six months in advance or multiple room reservations, a 30-day cancellation policy applies. Changes and modifications in existing reservations are subject to the above 21/30-day cancellation policy.
We highly recommend travel insurance to protect against last-minute emergencies. If interested there is a site we are aware of called Insure My Trip where it is possible to get quotes from many insurance providers. Our understanding is they have coverage for delays or cancellations due to weather, peril, job loss, and medical crisis. The policies have added benefits for medical care while away, including medical evacuation. We do not have personal experience with the Insure My Trip website so we cannot personally recommend it.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is from 3 to 6 PM. Special arrangements must be made for check-in after 6 PM. Check-out is by 11 AM.
Smoking: Captain Tom Lawrence House Inn is a non-smoking inn.
Parking: Parking (one space per room, nothing in tow) is available for registered guests.
Pets: We are occasionally able to accommodate pets in certain rooms, at an additional fee. Please call to inquire. In cases where we can accept dogs, they may never be left in a room without the owners present. There are also kennels and 'doggie daycare' facilities nearby.
